ASF is a dynamic and innovative organization that provides Residential Care along with a continuum of support services to men and women who live in the Baltimore and surrounding communities. A Step Forward is a faith-based, 501(c)3 program. Established in 2002, our mission is not only to provide a safe haven for our clients but to also assist them in establishing a level of wholeness that will alternately help them to become productive individuals with a hope and future. As you continue to explore who we are, it is our aim to enlist your support as a partner and friend, to assist us in meeting our objectives which are: to provide residential treatment slots; counseling services; life skills training; job readiness skills; computer training; drug and alcohol education; health education; parenting skills; recreational activities; financial literacy and family involvement.
